Agnes Drysdale

Psychologist

"Change is our only constant." I often find myself saying this to my clients as well as myself when undergoing a sudden change, challenged through a difficult event, or simply trying to navigate the stressors of everyday life. Sometimes it is difficult to manage or adjust to changes on our own and we need additional support. I hope that with my expertise I can walk alongside you to provide support when it is most needed and to help you navigate the emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and stressors that are getting in the way of your wellness.

I have a special interest in working with youth, adults, families, and caregivers who are struggling with mood, personality disorders, trauma, self-harm, suicidality, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Treatment may utilize strategies from CBT, DBT, ART, Solution-focused therapy, art therapy and other approaches.

Jianna Khouri

THERAPIST | master of SOCIAL WORK

"The goal is not to be cured, but to develop" (Dr. Gabor Mate). I believe that the point of therapy is not to free you from the struggles of life, but to support you in your growth and help you uncover your authentic self which holds your capacity to heal. My role as a therapist is to support and guide you in the process of rediscovering the wisdom and strength within you by building self-understanding and creating a space of compassionate, non-judgmental acceptance of who you are and what you’ve experienced. My work is trauma-informed and based in relationality as starting with a strong therapeutic relationship is important for allowing your experiences and authentic self to flow naturally.

My approach is tailored to you and often involves a blend of cognitive methods, including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Narrative Therapy, along with body-centered and emotion-focused approaches, such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Focusing-Oriented Therapy (FOT). I have experience supporting people through ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, difficult life transitions, parenting stressors and intergenerational trauma, among others.

Alexis Knight

THERAPIST | master of SOCIAL WORK

My work as a therapist is built on the belief that everyone has the capacity to heal when they feel seen, heard, and supported. I believe healing happens when we connect to ourselves, to others, and even to the messiest parts of our stories. Whether you’re navigating trauma, relationship challenges, substance use, or simply need a space to process what’s happening in your life, I’m here to support you in exploring whatever comes up. Big emotions, difficult situations, and colorful language are welcome and encouraged; nothing is off the table in my sessions.

I hold a master’s degree in clinical social work with a specialization in trauma-informed practice and take an eclectic, client-centered approach to therapy. I use a range of therapeutic tools to fit your individual needs and help you make progress in ways that feel realistic and meaningful. I often draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Polyvagal Theory, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to support your growth.

director/owner | COUNSELLING THERAPIST

Therapy and healing from past negative experiences is a journey and having effective support along the way is invaluable. With over 20 years of experience working in mental health and addictions, I believe that one of the most powerful elements in healing and achieving a life worth living is authenticity in the therapeutic relationship. I strive to bring compassion, humor, safety, respect and acceptance to the therapeutic process. I am also known to have a bit of a “potty mouth” as this is who I am! Using a trauma-informed lens, we will work to better understand our nervous system and the root causes of our struggles as well as learn new and effective coping tools, build on current strengths, and take on new challenges that are in alignment with your personal values and goals and work to heal from past painful experiences. Yes, healing is possible!

As a Counselling Therapist (CT) and Registered Occupational Therapist (OT-R), I specialize in providing trauma-focused psychotherapy. I am trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), am a Master Certified Accelerated Resolution Therapist (ART), Internal Family Systems Therapist (Level 1) and trained in Deep Brain Reorienting (Level 1).

Abby Logan

director/owner | COUNSELLING THERAPIST

I believe we all have the capacity to heal and learn how to live a life worth living, despite the challenging and painful experiences life may bring. Often, the coping strategies we develop to survive begin to create problems of their own if we don’t address the underlying causes. Therapy offers a safe and supportive space to explore, identify, and resolve these deeper issues, leading to transformational growth. Many clients share that, through therapy, they begin to feel lighter, no longer burdened by their past.

With over 35 years of experience supporting clients through a wide range of mental health, addiction, and trauma-related challenges, particularly developmental trauma, I bring a depth of understanding and compassion to my work.

“Know all the theories, Master all the techniques, But as you touch a human soul, be another human soul”. - Attributed to Carl. G. Jung.

I am a Counselling Therapist (CT), Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN), Certified Menopause Mental Health Provider (MMHPC) trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), an Internal Family Systems (IFS Level 1 & 2) Therapist and a Certified Master Accelerated Resolution Therapist (ART) helping people heal from trauma. I have delivered therapy through individual and group work, and I am passionate about both approaches.

Audra Potter

THERAPIST | clinical SOCIAL WORKer

The philosophy that guides my approach to therapy is grounded in growth, meaning‑making, and personal responsibility.  I believe that our experiences shape us, and that we each have agency in determining how those experiences influence the lives we create.  My path to becoming a therapist began in 2013, working as a social worker in public healthcare, and later evolved into clinical practice with adults, couples, and groups.  My passion for therapy is rooted in a deep curiosity about human behavior, and the stories people carry.  I believe that all individuals have the capacity to grow, change, and live more fully aligned with the best versions of themselves.  I am invested in my clients’ success and strive to support meaningful, effective change.  I view therapy as a collaborative process, and I understand change to be an active and intentional effort shared between therapist and client.

What approaches inform my practice?  Get ready for the acronyms…My clinical training includes Advanced Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) intensive training, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and introductory training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO). I have a strong passion for working with couples and am Level 1 and Level 2 Gottman Method trained, with additional experience and interest in supporting ethically non‑monogamous (ENM) relationships.  My work with couples also includes specialized education addressing relationship dynamics during pregnancy and the transition to parenthood.  Additionally, I have a particular interest in working with individuals with ADHD and am actively pursuing further training and certification in this area.

“The world gives you so much pain and here you are making gold out of it.” — Rupi Kaur

I believe therapy is a space for healing, growth, and meaningful change. Life can feel overwhelming when you are navigating difficult experiences, relationship challenges, or transitions that leave you feeling stuck or disconnected. My role as a therapist is to walk alongside you as you make sense of your experiences, build self-understanding, and reconnect with your strengths.

I strive to create a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you feel safe to show up authentically, while also being gently challenged toward growth. I believe healing happens through connection, honesty, and sometimes humor—because even in life’s heaviest moments, laughter can be part of the process too.

My approach is relational, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I primarily draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to support clients in navigating overwhelming emotions, building coping strategies, and moving toward a life that feels more aligned and meaningful. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Sydney Devlin

clinic coordinator

As the clinic coordinator at Lihtan Therapy Collective, I’m the primary point of contact for clients—supporting initial inquiries, answering questions, and helping people feel oriented and at ease as they begin connecting with our services.

I understand that reaching out for support can take courage. I approach each interaction with care, clarity, and respect, and I’m intentional about creating a calm, non‑judgmental experience from the very first conversation. Whether I’m helping you find the right therapist, clarifying next steps, or responding to logistical questions, my aim is to offer support that feels warm, reliable, and grounded.

I’m a recent graduate of a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Media, with a minor in Psychology. This background allows me to pair clear, thoughtful communication with an understanding of the importance of safety, relationship, and attunement within a therapeutic environment. I value consent, transparency, and flexibility, and I strive to meet each person where they are—honouring the uniqueness of individual needs, identities, and lived experiences.

I will not rescue you,
For you are not powerless.

I will not fix you.
For you are not broken.

I will not heal you.
For I see you in your wholeness.

I will walk with you through the darkness,
as you remember your light
