Who We Are Looking For
A detail-oriented and conscientious therapist that is passionate about working with trauma, complex trauma and emotion regulation issues.
Trained in evidence-based therapies to support working with this population, including ART, DBT, CBT and ACT (IFS and other trauma-specific modalities would be an asset).
Skilled at building rapport and therapeutic relationships and works from a collaborative approach with clients
An individual that is open to feedback and learning, who is practice is supported by evidence-based practice.
A team player, with a clear understanding of collaborative care and team dynamics.
A full-time independent contractor - Completing a minimum of 20-25 client hours per week. Client hours will be comprised of both private (fee for service) clients as well as insurance-based (Short- and Long-Term Disability and/or Medical Leave) clients.
An individual who is passionate and dedicated to this work and to the practice as a whole (if you are someone that wants to punch in and punch out, this role isn’t for you).

Registration with the college of Psychologists or Social Workers and/or as a Clinical Counsellors/ Psychotherapists/ Counselling Therapist in Alberta.
Current Liability Insurance with cybersecurity.
Minimum 5 years of experience working in mental health (front line and therapy experience would be as asset).
Experience and education working with PTSD, Complex Trauma, addictions and ADHD, as well as experience working with individuals with multiple mental health needs.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Ability to use Jane practice software will be considered an asset.
