We are looking to welcome Part-Time trauma‑informed therapists (Registered Psychologists, Master’s‑Level Social Workers, and Clinical Counsellors) who feel deeply committed to supporting individuals navigating life impacted by complex trauma, nervous system overwhelm, and challenges with emotion regulation.

If you value relationship‑based work, collaboration, and meeting clients where they are, we would love to hear from you.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking to welcome Part-Time trauma‑informed therapists (Registered Psychologists, Master’s‑Level Social Workers, and Clinical Counsellors) who feel deeply committed to supporting individuals navigating life impacted by complex trauma, nervous system overwhelm, and challenges with emotion regulation. If you value relationship‑based work, collaboration, and meeting clients where they are, we would love to hear from you.

You’d Be a Great Fit If You:

  • Practice from a trauma‑informed, compassionate, and strengths‑based lens, with an understanding of how trauma impacts the nervous system, relationships, and sense of self

  • Are trained in evidence‑based modalities that support this population, such as ART, EMDR, DBT, CBT, and ACT
(Experience with IFS or other trauma‑specific approaches is a valued asset, though not required at this stage)

  • Place strong importance on building safety, trust, and therapeutic alliance, and work collaboratively with clients to support client‑identified goals, pace, and readiness

  • Value curiosity, humility, and ongoing learning in your clinical work

  • Enjoy working as part of a supportive, connected team and believe healing is strengthened through community and shared care.

Availability & Capacity To ensure both therapist well‑being and accessible care for our clients, we maintain thoughtfully balanced workloads.

For part‑time therapists, this includes:

  • Availability on three different days each week

  • 4–5 client hours per day

  • A combination of day and evening availability

  • Commitment to either Saturday or Sunday availability

We welcome therapists who practice cultural humility, approach differences with curiosity rather than correction, and hold an affirming, non‑pathologizing understanding of neurodivergence. We value openness to learning, self‑reflection, and collaborative growth, and we strive to create an environment where clinicians feel seen, supported, and genuinely valued. Our team culture prioritizes choice, autonomy, flexibility, and sustainable care—recognizing that supporting nervous system regulation and well‑being matters for clinicians as much as it does for clients.

    • Client Referrals to support a full and sustainable caseload

    • Competitive percentage-based compensation

    • Online practice management software (Jane) for electronic documentation, scheduling, and billing

    • Ongoing consultation and continuing education opportunities

    • Comprehensive administrative support, including new client intake, scheduling, invoicing, and billing

    • Multidisciplinary team collaboration within a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment

    • Personal professional email, plus marketing and advertising support

    • Space and support to facilitate group sessions and workshops

    • Opportunities to grow and develop areas of clinical interest

    • Fully furnished private office space in a calming, serene setting

    • Comfortable waiting area with beverages and refreshments available for clients

    • Covered parking in a secure parkade

    • Wi‑Fi and personal printer in each office

    • A supportive and engaged team culture of clinicians who are passionate about their work and invested in the practice as a whole
(This is not a “punch in, punch out” role, connection, care, and collaboration matter here.)

    • Active registration with the College of Psychologists, Alberta College of Social Workers (MSW), and/or registration as a Clinical Counsellor in Alberta

    • Current professional liability insurance, including cyber liability coverage

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in mental health
(Front‑line and therapeutic experience are considered strong assets)

    • At least 1 year of experience in private practice, with comfort building, managing, and sustaining a caseload

    • A trauma‑informed lens, with experience supporting individuals with complex and intersecting mental health concerns

    • Education and/or experience working with one or more of the following areas is an asset:
PTSD, complex trauma, addictions, ADHD, couples and family therapy, and perinatal mental health

    • Ability to work independently while also valuing collaboration

    • Comfort with, or willingness to learn, Jane practice management software (an asset)

    • Your own laptop computer for clinical and administrative work

    • Strong attention to detail; organized, conscientious, and reliable

    • A genuine passion for mental health work and ongoing professional growth

    • A desire to be part of a collaborative, supportive team environment

    • You show up as your authentic self in the therapy relationship, grounded and present

    • You’ve engaged in your own personal work through therapy, self‑reflection, consultation, or other growth‑oriented practices
